French Knitting is great fun, and it's an ideal companion to knitting when you're teaching your child other yarn crafts. Knitting helps in the development of fine motor skills, maths and spacial recognition (understanding how things fit together). Knitting can be wholly absorbing and therefore increases the ability to concentrate and apply oneself to a task. Knitting is very relaxing but also mentally stimulating and is a great craft to work on concentration. There's never an end of things to learn!
